Steven F. Massucci, DPM
Steven F. Massucci is skilled podiatric physician and surgeon who has been in practice since 2017. He joined Waterbury Podiatry Consultants in 2020, and became the owner in 2021.
Dr. Massucci is a native of Connecticut and was raised in Southington. He is part of a large Italian family that immigrated to Waterbury from Southern Italy a century ago. He graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences prior to attending the New York College of Podiatric Medicine where he earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine in 2017. Dr. Massucci then completed a 3-year surgical residency at Roger Williams Medical Center (Boston University teaching hospital) in Providence, RI with a reconstructive rearfoot and ankle certification. While there, he completed over 1,000 cases and served as Chief Resident in his final year of training.
As an avid sports fan and distance runner, Dr. Massucci is experienced in treating athletes. His other areas of interest include forefoot/rearfoot surgery including bunion, hammertoe, heel pain, flatfoot, trauma, diabetic wound care, and limb salvage.
Samuel G. Kellner, DPM
Samuel G. Kellner, DPM, is skilled podiatric physician and surgeon with specialties in foot and ankle surgery. He has been in practice since 2017.
As a New England native, Dr. Kellner was born and raised in Trumbull, CT. He attended Pennsylvania State University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences with a Spanish minor degree. Medical school followed at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York City, where he received his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 2017. Following graduation, Dr. Kellner completed his reconstructive foot and ankle surgical residency program at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham, MA, where he served as Chief Resident during his final year.
Dr. Kellner is an associate of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery. He is directly affiliated with Waterbury Hospital, the Waterbury Wound Healing Center, and Hospital for Special Care in New Britain, CT.
During his youth, Dr. Kellner was very active in sports, and continues to believe in a healthy, balanced lifestyle in order to have a sound mind, sound body, and sound feet. He is also a strong proponent of continuing education and is an active member of multiple podiatric organizations, including the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, Connecticut Podiatric Medical Association, and the American Podiatric Medical Association.
